Gadot - Chemical Terminals – High-capacity Storage in Israel and Europe

Gadot is a world-leading expert in operating safe and efficient chemical terminals. In Israel, it owns and operates the country’s only deep sea chemical terminals. In Europe, its major facility is located in Belgium, with additional chemical terminals located in Greece and the Netherlands.

Chemical terminals in Israel

Gadot owns and operates two chemical terminals in Haifa Bay, Israel’s major port area. With more than 140 storage tanks and a total capacity of more than 65,000 cubic meters, our terminals are the largest chemical terminal facilities in Israel. They provide a full answer to Gadot’s own vast chemical terminaling needs, and capacity is also rented out to other companies. Every year, more than 350,000 metric tons of bulk chemicals pass through our terminals.

  • The northern terminal operations focus on bulk storage and distribution of flammable chemicals imported by Gadot.
  • The southern terminal supplies third party logistics services, including transportation and storage of chemicals imported to and exported from Israel by other companies.

Chemical terminals in Europe

The VLS Group , Gadot’s logistics subsidiary in Europe, operates a vast  network of chemical terminals, providing European importers and exporters of hazardous, non-hazardous and flammable chemicals with comprehensive bulk storage, logistics and distribution services.

Since 2010, Gadot has owned and operated the former ADPO chemical storage terminal in the port of Ghent, Belgium. With approximately 100,000 cubic meters of storage capacity, this unique chemical storage terminal offers a unique integrated service model which includes: liquid storage, warehousing, tolling, processing, blending and filling as well as other value-added services.

Additional Gadot chemical terminals in Europe are located in Antwerp, Belgium and Rotterdam, Netherlands, both operated by VLS; and in Athens, Greece, operated by Gadot’s wholly owned representative, Chyma SA.
